Any time we try to detox too fast, we end up shooting ourselves in the foot, so to speak. This is because we can only tolerate so many toxins in the bloodstream at any given time. So by doing too much detoxing at any one time, we end up herxing.
I also never try anything new late in the day, I don't want to be all night as well, trying to figure out how to calm a herx down and being miserable. I always keep activated charcoal on hand for these times, because for some of us, try as we might to keep from being awake part or most of the night herxing, it still happens.
I would suggest going slower - try taking only one pill, and not just before you try to rest. Also be sure you are doing plenty of other detoxing routines to help your body remove those toxins completely, not just releasing the toxins from the tissues and into the bloodstream.
As far as which infections were doing this, Lyme and Bart are usually the infections that cause herxing, and it's Lyme and Bart that can produce that symptom. Other than that, I'm not sure if it's possible to narrow it down any further based off of one symptom.
In order to kind of prepare your body, I would suggest you increase your detoxing before trying this again.
Best of luck, and I hope your herxing slows down quickly.
