Mrs777, yes I am feeling excellent. It is a long journey getting well with this lyme. There are many factors that help work in getting well. Treatment, of course, is number one. Either antibiotics or herbs or a combo of both. Then there are eating habits. You have to eat healthy to get well.
Detoxing is super important. All our organs need help in getting rid of the toxins that we are exposed to on a daily basis. Drinking water is the basic beginner's detox method. There are many and they all add up to better health even when you don't have lyme.
And I think a mental attitude is important. I always visualized being well. I did sleep when I was tired, but I found that keeping busy distracted me from my lyme pains.
Lyme is frightening. Especially since it is not like a cold. You don't get well in 2 weeks. It scares you because you doubt ever being well again. You get pains that migrate. That makes you think it is spreading and that is scary. And you don't know what to believe. You turn to the internet and there are just as many things saying "this" as there are saying "that."
And to top it off you don't have the energy to figure out what is the truth. I could not read more than a paragraph and my brain would shut down. That was all I could handle.
Your boyfriend is extremely lucky to have you to decipher all of this for him. I think we all wish we had a "you" in our life.
Here is some good reading material to start. This site has some awesome information. And, of course, this forum does also. Lots of good people here that have tried so many different ways. All looking to get well. There is no single solution to curing lyme. It is a personal journey with a personalized cure that each of us has to find.
