Lyme is getting totally out of control. Just imagine, everybody ill with Lyme today, including my young daughter, having kids later in life will pass Lyme on. They will get weird symptoms without realisning its Lyme, and they will marry somebody and pass Lyme on to their partners and children.
Plus every tick which feeds on human or animal blood will be able to produce 20 000 more tick eggs after every meal. I think Lyme is not stoppable if something big in science is not done.
But the question is - is there a force in medical industry which wants Lyme to go on? I think that Mark Zuckenberg is a bit naive in all this. Somebody will put him back into his place.
I think what you say in the first paragraph may already be playing out. If in fact BB was found in remains of a iceman mummy, then it is possible that this bacteria could be in most of the population. How could it not be if it can be passed from in utero and sexually, not to mention other vectors, transfusions, etc. People are testing positive but are not sick - yet. Which totally goes along with Horowitz MSIDS guide - it's always more than just the BB making you sick. But it's probably the big one.
