I feel like I'm going down for the count...I'm so exhausted, my neck is so stiff, and I have this weird headache. I can't tell where the pain is, though, I think it's the back of my head. I'm dizzy/lightheaded and getting a spaced out feeling. I ate something hoping it would help but it didn't. I have my usual daily fever. The bones in my face hurt; it's not sinuses, it feels deeper than that. I've never felt like this before.

Have you started or changed something recently - like in the last 2 weeks?

How's your detoxing going?

The weather is changing in most of the country, and that's the time for colds and other viruses. Could it be something that's "going around"???

Traveler is correct....the weather is changing and is becoming cooler.....this is when they are coming out. Inside you body. The spirochetes cycle also coincide with the tick cycle. This is the worse time of the year to be on the trails.

pmm....I feel the same as well...everything today hurt ...deeply...like they are digging in cartilage.

Detoxing is okay. I started cat's claw yesterday but did not take it today yet. The only thing that's changed is that I've been off abx for 2 1/2 weeks.

It could be the combination of having been out of treatment for 2 1/2 weeks and then starting the cat's claw. I would encourage you to increase your detoxing to see if that helps. Don't forget that if you can work in binders, they are a really quick way to lower toxin levels!

Getting cooler here too, my ears are so darn full. Head pressure, top of head pain. Thinking it's allergies. Took a couple Claratin.. seemed to help.

I was on it for 30 days (from diagnosis until 2 1/2 weeks ago.) It was my first treatment for chronic lyme so I'm not sure if it worked; I'm waiting to hear about recent bloodwork and what the next step is. The only problem I had with it was painful swelling (which went away after I stopped). Compared to what I feel like now, I felt much better while taking it lol

That is what I meant! When I was on abx the first 3 weeks it was Heaven!! then hell broke loose....but I felt pretty good before abx when I was only on Euleothero. So cannot say if abx contributed or not.
Why are you doing bloodwork?

My LLMD told me she wanted to run the Lyme tests again to check my levels and then decide on the next course of treatment. Is this not right??? I have serious doubts about her but I at least thought this was typical for newly diagnosed.

Pmm73 sorry you are feeling bad. Hopefully things will swing in a more positive direction for you. Why would she want you to do another test? You're still having symptoms so in my opinion that's a waste of your money. I'm sorry but you don't need another test to determine the next course of treatment. She needs to be treating you based on symptoms.
