Got sick with sore throat ect. Always puts my lower back out. Last year I was really sick all winter and this happened 3 times. Does this happen to anyone else?

Wow, Jampee! That's quite a rash! What meds are you on? It may be an allergic reaction, so have you started anything new or raised your dose in the last few days?
Don't you just hate it when having one thing go wrong affects your back too?? Ugh! I sure do and am still recovering with my back from intestinal issues!!

I haven't started treatment yet. Just got diagnosed 4 weeks ago and I'm getting my ducks in a row so to speak first. Starting soon.

Do you have any Benedryl? If so, I would encourage you to take at least one right away for that rash.
Is it itchy or does it burn?

Do you have a LLMD yet? Or a doctor that is really caring and wanting to help? If so, you should get a hold of them right away and let them know what's going on. Your previous rashes (shown on your other thread) combined with this looks like the rashes someone else that is on this forum has had, and she has really bad issues with MCAD.
Of course, this does NOT mean you have MCAD, but there is something pretty dramatic going on though!

It burns. Not itchy.
I dunno what MCAD is? I do have 2 doctors working with me that are pretty lyme literate. I'm not able to go in today though. I'm not well enough to drive the 20 minutes with a 2 year old in tow. My spouse just got off graveyards and is sleeping so I'm stuck for now. I have the pictures to show him next week.

Can you call your doc? Do you have benadryl in the house? You can stay on benadryl every 4 hours to keep it under control.
MCAD is Mast Cell Activation Disorder. We all can get a bit of this during a herx, but you aren't on any meds, so it throws a monkey wrench into trying to figure out what is going on.
I was talking with a member that has severe MCAD issues, and she suggested that your doc may wish to take a blood sample for testing trypase levels while you are symptomatic. I shared the link with her and she said that's exactly how her chest looked like. Just wanting to be very cautious with this!

At this point, there's no way I can tell you what all is going on, but this is not something to ignore, I know that much. It looks like an allergic reaction rash - but you aren't on any meds, so that means something else is going on and why I'm encouraging you to get your doctor involved and be sure to show him/her those pictures - all of them, including the ones from previous years.
