UK members - how were you diagnosed?

I'd just like an answer now on whether I have Lyme or not so I can either move on with my life or treat it accordingly..
Was thinking of taking the ELISA/Western blot here through a normal GP in the UK but is it worth it as it may not give an accurate diagnosis?
Would love to hear how you UK members were diagnosed...I would be up for sending blood abroad etc, just not sure how to go about the process so any help would be appreciated.

Hope - Did you get in touch with Suzee? She is from the UK - she posted on a previous thread of yours'.

Also did I send you some options previously? Potential LLMD's and clinics?

In the meantime, you could do the test you've been told about - it may show something.

use AONM to sort testing abroad. They guide you through everything.
I was clinically diagnosed through my doctor via mark and symptoms. My nhs test came back part positive (igm) my private test came back equivocal/very weak positive on elispot so for me personally the nhs test has matched the performance of the private test. For many it doesn't though!
Might be worth it, however on the flip side be prepared for it to tarnish your medical records if it comes back negative as it will always be NO LYME .....even if you have a bullseye with tick attached on your forehead!

Not in uk ..but i saw spirochete via microscopy lightfield at 1600x .and new lab here dna connexions has had no negatives according to my doc

Hi Hope, the two I sent you in the email are the only ones I know of in UK and one of those is hugely expensive. I got a Clinical diagnosis from one of the ones I mentioned to you as well. All the GP's and specialists I have seen look at me as I have two heads when I say Lyme as they come back with 'its not possible as you have been given doxycycline for a month'

However, I can recommend a great herbalist here in UK. I am following Buhner protocol and have found another great website for some Swanson supplements. Will email those over to you. You can speak with the herbalist on the phone and he also does free consultations, he is based in the South of England, Hampshire. I daren't tempt fate but must say since starting the core protocol of Japanese Knotweed, Cats Claw, Eleuthero, Ashwagandha plus Red Root, Collagen, Turmeric, D3, K2 and couple of other supplements there is a tremendous difference and I am feeling so much better already. This is third month of JK and CC.

all my NHS test results were neg. i got a private test done (where you fedex your blood to them) to a german then an american lab (to be sure) both came back positive.
