Hello everyone I just like to like to know if it's normal to feel Spacey on antibiotics for like a month or so I know most likely would have to detox but this is go away eventually have to stay on for another six weeks take it from there I was diagnosed early within 4 weeks

I am going on week 4. I had to take a day off of work yesterday because I couldn't concentrate (and I was terribly dizzy).

Today, I can barely read emails right.

Tomorrow I have to run a meeting in front of 15 people. Half I have never met. I have days where I can't even make words come out of my mouth. I can't concentrate to read. (It's taken me a good 2 minutes to write this....)

So, I'm there with you!!!!!

Does this all come back? That's my fear. Is this doing permanent damage?

Poohcheez and LymeTrez - I didn't go the anti-biotic route - but, the spacey feeling I would guess is associated with the die-off from bacteria. Detox, detox, detox. Take gentle care. It gets better with treatment.

well I have that so bad I can not drive most of the time and I am NOT on any treatment...yet...my 1st apt is tomorrow with LLND

my worst symptom and have had it for a year increasing with time it has gotten really bad

so I don't know if this is a symptom of Lyme or Migraine associated...

I get head herx stuff like crazy... every time I do a UVLrx, every time I add more of one herb or a begin a new herb. I feel like I just got off of a boat. It's crazy weird. I guess for me, when it happens, I almost get excited because I am getting a reaction... and if I get a reaction I know something is happening inside as I am a herxer... as soon as it resolves, I move on with adding onto my treatment.

Minocycline and Rifampin has given me some relief from this symptom.

I'm like that often. Just got diagnosed and haven't stated treatment. I get very dizzy and my brain won't work. I shouldn't drive. Can't make decisions or answer questions. Hearty palpitations. Speech gets screwy. Get exhausted and yawn like uli have no oxygen.
Been told for the past 10 years is spent migraines but now realize it's lyme.

I realize when i dont eat enough with abx i get more spacey when i take with a full meal i dont feel spacey. Anyone experience this. Last night didn't have full meal spacey most of the day.

Unfortunately for most of us with constant dizziness, how much or how little we eat has no effect on that symptom.

eating has no effect on my dizziness wish it did I would eat 24/7

Hypoglycemia and fatigued adrenals can also be underlying issues that some are not aware of that can contribute to dizziness and spaciness. Many of these treatments are taxing on the body which can further exacerbate adrenal dysfunction.
