Symptoms go away when moving around

Has anyone else with either lyme and or bartonella noticed that once you get the energy to actually get up and go and do something that the symptoms go away or reduce? That is what is the weirdest thing, Just about 2 hours ago I was on here asking some questions and I was on the couch, was tired, neck stiff, aching, shoulder aches, back ache, etc.. i finally mustered the energy to clean my kitchen and bathrooms that have been put off and while cleaning I honestly didnt notice anything.

Now that I am done and sitting down again I feel the exhaustion setting in again, the aches, etc. Makes sense if this is the case because I sit at a desk at work all day and that is when I feel the worse :(

Getting up and doing something, even if it's a small chore, is a distraction. Many of us will use this as a way to cope with the aches and pains. Sometimes we have symptoms that are too severe to allow us to do this, but it does help!

So weird.. i just thought I was going crazy. I don't really have anyone to ask these questions to as my LLMD when I sent her messages online she gives me answers almost like she doesnt remember who I am so doesn't look at my history etc, and tells me that i need to come in for a follow up but its 1.5 hours away during work hours. Not as easy as one thinks.

I also cant really find any good online websites with info for lyme and bartonella. or any that really make me feel like my symptoms fall under both of those even though I tested positive for both. I guess everyone is different?

To the op, absolutely.

When I'm moving around and just going about my day I feel fine. But when I relax and lay down, yes a stiff creaky neck happens and muscle twitching in my legs happen.

Lyme is so strange. When I'm idle and relaxing, some symptoms flare up.

Well that explains why I feel worst at work, since I sit all day and only get up to go to the bathroom.. so odd.

I think this is fairly common, people should try it more if possible.

Gives your mind a break and gets the body fluids / lymph ect going. Keeping moving is a must. If your tight, you must manually losen to begin moving again.

My brain needs nature, if I cant self propel into it, I'll tour by car. Its a drug to me.

In my past days of greater pain Id go drive to some peaceful natural areas, winter I'd go tour the ice fishing shack roads / lake villages just for something different in the winter (within ice safety measures of course). On good winter pain days, I'd go ride my fat bike out on the ice and chat with the fisherman LOL. Funner than ice fishing - which I do in the frozen food section now.

That reminds me of one of those funny memes on Facebook.

"I shot my first turkey!! Of course it scared the cr*p out of me and everyone in the frozen food section when I fired though!"

That's about as much hunting as I've done in quite a few years though.

YES! I can go out for a 3 mile run and have the time of my life. No dizziness. No issues. No worries in the world. Barely out of breath!

But if I'm sitting on the couch, trying to relax, I feel like my heart is racing and I get uncomfortable.

That is just the weirdest thing ever and I thought i was crazy. Yesterday and the day before i had so much energy but today def more tired and slowly seeing the aches in my shoulders, neck and head coming back, so pro \b time for another epsom bath.
