Please recommend natural cyst busters

Hello,
I was using Doxy with pulsed Flagyl as cyst breaker for a longer time. But I developed massive stomach problems and had to stop Flagyl.

Some people take GSE (grapefruit seed extract) but I have read that you can not take it together with Doxy as decreases effect of the antibiotics.

What can I take? What do you take as cyst breakers?

Is Plaquenil a cyst breaker? My doctor told me maybe I should try it. But as I have loads of pain in my stocmach at the moment, I would prefer to go natural route. Thankful for any advice :)

Or is it OK to take GSE with lunch but medications in the morning and in the evening?

My Doc gave me Plaquenil and said it was a cyst buster. I heard Stevia is also good. I use it to sweeten food/drinks.

From the links which Girlie has posted, seems that GSE has interactions with many drugs.

I will buy stevia. Question is - will it be enough for cyst busting? I wonder what others are taking?

Sean Scott - did you have any side effects from Plaquenil? Maybe I should also go that route if it is no too bad to GI tract?

I will see Lyme doctor only in one month... need advice faster.

Cistus Tea is a popular cyst buster for lyme in Europe. I get it on Ebay here in Australia, its quite cheap and one tea bag has several cups of tea in it. I am sensitive to a lot of things the tea seems quite safe to me. I have had less luck with the enzymes they recommend serrapeptase,, lumbrokinase and nattakinase they are a bit hard on the stomach although these days they come in enteric coated capsules so they may be worth another try.

Oh Im taking Gse, AND am on doxy. I was advised to give each ample time for absorption, before taking the other....in other words, I wait four hours after GSE before taking doxy, and vice-versa

I think about cysts and biofilms a lot.

I feel that my amoxicillin and Flagyl(trade name)/Metranidazole (generic name) combo knocked down the majority of my bacteria burden.

I've been depending on GSE to step up to the challenge and hold the fort while I learn more. Thanks for the Samento tip. I will ask my Homie for advice and share. She seems to approach treatment on a symptomatic basis as opposed to following a clear laid out plan. Who can? We are all so different. Like Traveler mentioned: "We knock it down one symptom at a time". We all have different symptoms.





As far as my GP is concerned, I am cured and am simply living with the damage caused by the infection.

Thank you for your kind comments on the book. I did not look at GSE in lyme as it is not very systemic. It should be effective for lyme infection of the GI tract but I doubt it would do well for the central nervous sytem or secluded cysts.
