Biomagnetic pair therapy for lyme

It is a really unconventional treatment but I have run into a LOT of people that get their lives back with the biomagnetic pair therapy.

I live near a practitioner(second link) that is now teaching a specific lyme and coinfections protocol. I have met quite a few people that she has helped. There was a sweet young girl who had missed a couple of years of high school and had been a patient of Dr Horowitz's for several years. She had been on IV with no success. After several magnet treatments she was back playing on the boys hockey team...Her mom was so happy with the treatments , that the mom started to study the treatment protocol and has become a practitioner. There was one woman from California that was being treated who had been "getting her affairs in order" because of how sick she was with lyme. She stumbled into BMP therapy. After about a year felt better, not all the way until she found the woman that is teaching the lyme stuff. Another woman, a gardner with a relapse told me that she had been feeling worse and did the magnets two times and feels totally fine. My naturopath has a BMP practitioner in her office. The receptionist had been in a wheelchair until the BMP therapy was added to her protocol. The ND told me of many success stories. The treatments do come with worsening of symptoms. The herxes can be severe and a little unpredictable. The practitioners do muscle testing and also place pairs for viruses and parasites. Yes, unconventional but the people that it helps don't care...It is a leap of faith.

All this said, there are some patients that are still really really sick despite many many treatments.. It does not help everyone. The woman that teaches the lyme protocol keeps finding new pairs and keeps treating those. She believes that there are many variations of these bugs that impact a straightforward treatment. She believes whole heartedly in what she is doing and has teamed up with a research doctor at Dartmouth - who's wife got well doing the pair therapy.

I think that if you see a BMP therapist it is best to see one that deals mostly with lyme. There are some that are being trained in Boston and New Hampshire that are studying the lyme protocol. There is another practitioner at the ND's office in Vermont. I believe that the lyme practitioner in the article is really backed up with clients so not easy to get in to see. I think, or it's my opinion, that something like this isn't going to kill the bacteria by itself.

Completely agreeing with you AK that it is a leap of faith.

I am not commenting on anyone's particular illness or that they got well, but I have seen that some people's over all threshold of tolerance for the symptoms of disease of any kind may differ widely. There may be a link between their state of emotions and their immune function.

I'm suggesting that the power of thought, and faith in something can make them feel over-all better.

Like the anecdote of a person not feeling well, goes to the doctor and before the dr. has a chance to see him, he feels silly for being there because his symptoms are all gone! This has happened to me and I understand it to be the mental relief I get from thinking I am now in a safe place and in capable hands.

That peace of mind has a physiological affect that lets blood flow more naturally, you're less tense, etc., the complete opposite of tightening up in knots with worry and fear.

I'm sure there is a scientific explanation for that, but I kind of believe that these people (who became completely symptom free from magnetic therapy) were not in as bad of shape physically, that is with the body damage that so many here are experiencing. JM(uneducated)O.
