Antibiotics for babesia and weird symptoms.

I have been undergoing Lyme treatment since the end of August. I started taking minocycline, tindamax, and fluconozole, along with NAC to help with detox. After 2 months, I was starting to feel pretty good when some of my symptoms began to return.

My LLMD explained that "the biggest bully on the block" will show up and wreak havoc. He thought since the Lyme was being killed off and weakend, babesia was now causing problems, so he switched me to clindamycin and Atovaquone (Mepron). A month later, some symptoms have improved, but now I have a mild pinching feeling on the right side, directly under the inside of my rib cage, when I bend over. It could be due to straining muscles in yoga, but I don't know. I'm probably being paranoid, but could this be something with my liver?

Also, I have been feeling very tense and "keyed up." My shoulders are especially tense and I keep catching myself clenching my jaw. I also have periodic shooting pains at the base of my skull on one side (again, could be overstretching in yoga). Could these be symptomatic of either Lyme or babesia?

Don't know if I should contact my doctor or wait until my appointment in 3 weeks. Thanks for any help!

It does not matter where you pains are, you are going to worry. It is just a part of having lyme.

I always would guess at which part was affected. My husband said to me once, "how do you know this is your pancreas that is hurting?"

We certainly learn anatomy with lyme. We want to know what is hurting and why and how can we make it stop.

Fortunately with lyme, it will move to another part and there we go again, guessing what the heck is hurting, why, and how can I make it stop?

My advice is go with your gut feelings. If you feel you should call the doctor, then definitely do it! Don't wait.

If you are hesitant, then give it a bit to move on to another part and see if that happens.

Just don't be silly and let something important not be checked out. Better safe than sorry.

Most of your organs are between your ribs. Except bladder and ascending colon. Your pain could be lymph system issues. I had this issue. It will come and go since this system is responsible for the actual removal of all toxins in the body. If it gets backed up it hurts and gets inflammed on certain areas.
