I practice yoga a lot.. A few times a week at a studio and as needed at home.. It helps my pain level so so much, I really don't know how I'd have managed with all the lyme pain without it. Sometimes the yoga itself hurts a lot, like a whole lot, and it's freaky to feel so embodied when I'm very uncomfortable (for example, if my breathing is weird from air hunger) but it brings such relief that I'm sure overall it's positive for me.
The spiritual element is great, too... Nothing wrong with a little extra spiritual fortitude with all of this lyme suffering!
I do simple hatha classes. I'm sure the restorative/therapeutic classes would be good just for feeling rested, but the haha classes are great for body pain because of all the movement they bring to the joints and stretching to the muscles.
