Lymes migrane

Chanymom, welcome to the forum. I can completely empathize with you on the headaches, I wake up with one almost every morning. For a while they'd continue all day.

They are lessening a little, but I've just ordered some Kudzu, that was recommended here, to help out with that.

If you haven't already, please check out our intro, "New to Lyme?.....start here". Pay particular attention to the section on detoxing, which helps rid the body of toxins from die off, that may be overwhelming our elimination process.

What herbs are you taking? Did you start low dose, and what dosage are you at now?

It could be a herx reaction, and a good way to find out is to cut back your dosage and see if the migraine symptoms stop.

Welcome, and sorry to hear you're not feeling well. Most of my pain right now is in the back of my head with severe light and sound sensitivity; it's felt like a three week long migraine. I have been taking kudzu root and pinella and I think it's starting to help (it definitely wasn't an immediate relief unfortunately). Hope you find some relief soon!

I had a horrible migrane last night. Every nerve in my head was pounding. I have chronic lymes and have been slowly taking herbal drops. Does this sound like a herx relation ? My lymes is mainly in my head and neck. And what is good to take for the unbearable pain?

Also I think an infected root canal which was pulled (not by a holistic dentist) made symptoms so much worse.

Pounding headaches are often caffeine withdrawal or methyltransferase related. BHMT mutations are bad for these type of headaches.

I was taking 6 drops twice a day of BB-1 drops trying to work up I take all three Pekana drops. I can't have caffeine because of mitro valve prolapse it's like the Lyme attacks one place in my neck it's constantly pulsating
