Hi guys -

I recently started a biofilm buster protocol with BULOUKE and SERRAFLAZYME (both 40mgs daily). WONDERING WHAT PEOPLE'S EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN WITH THIS TREATMENT IN BUSTING BIOFILM?

I have also been taking GSE for about a month as a cyst buster.

Herxed with Bulouoke/Serrflazyme but nothing from GSE. My LLMD definitively thinks that my Babesia is worse than my Lyme. Postitive test for Babesia but clinical dx of lyme.

CAN BABESIA HIDE IN BIOFILM?

I don't have experience with those things, but did want to comment that all bacteria and viruses can hide in biofilms - and even though Babesia is considered a parasite - it's a blood parasite, so it too can hide in biofilms from what I understand.

Like Traveler said, any bacteria can hide in biofilm. Borelia makes the biofilm and then other bacteria can use its biofilm. That is how they can prevent our immune system from attacking it.
I haven't tried these biofilm busters, I used Serrapeptase and NAC.

Actually, many bacteria make biofilms, which is why we can have all kinds of bacteria and viruses release when we take things to break up biofilms.

I was taking an effective biofilm buster for me, and had to stop not only it, but my treatments because I was overwhelmed with symptoms and couldn't get the herxing/symptoms under control because I had not actually realized (I did think about it though!!) what all I would be releasing when I opened up said biofilms!! Lesson learned. LOL.

So, do be careful and watch yourself so that things don't get out of control.

But the biofilm buster is effective in helping the abx kill the lyme or in my case, the babesia bacteria?

Unfortunately, I think I already opened up pandora's box bc outside of the first few days, I have been herxing more since I added the biofilm buster. I am trying to keep the mentality that as long as I am killing the bad stuff, I will do my best to withstand the herx.

Yes, the biofilm buster is what is needed in order to treat as much of the bacteria/viruses as you can - otherwise they will just hide out and re-emerge when the coast is clear.

Please increase the detoxing you are doing when you are herxing. Herxing is hard on the body and can get to dangerous levels - which is why we are always talking about detoxing here. Binders are a great way to help lower toxin loads quickly - just be mindful of the waiting times when using them.

Not spoken of much here are the biofilm busters based on essential oils. Oils are awesome people should really look more into them. Here are 2 that were referred to me that are worth considering.

That slime that you get on your teeth between brushing is a biofilm.
Eventually if it doesn't get totally cleaned off it forms the plaque. /www.staph-infection-resources.com/recurring/biofilms/

As has been mentioned on the forum, pulling coconut oil will also clear that and the underlying bacteria out.
