Buhner Babesia protocol

what have people's experiences been with the Buhner protocol for babesia? " BABESIA :Stephen generally recommends the use of a Sida acuta, Alchornea cordifolia, and Cryptolepis sanguinolenta blend for the treatment of babesia these days: ¼-1/2 tsp 3x daily. You could as well do ¼ tsp of each of these three tinctures 3x daily." I am currently on a different protocol but exploring options if I need further help.

My body did not like the Sida Acuta. I did Cryptolepis and it took care of any Babs I had before I even tried to introduce the Alchornea. I still have the bottle. Hoping hubby doesn't need it, but at least I have it on the ready.

so just the cryptolepsis alone got rid of your babs? had you had symptoms prior?
I know I tied cryptoepsis once in the beginning of treatment but it was hard for me to asses what was what back then. I had so much going on and was so confused. Now that I am more clear and just dealing with these few babesia protocol I am wondering if the buhner protocol would be a good one for me to add.

After treating lyme for awhile I had some symptoms that just kept hanging on. I had air hunger and night sweats. And for those symptoms, I thought Babs. I had no idea at that point if I needed to keep on treating the lyme or was it babs??? I still don't know for sure, but after adding in the cryptolepis my symptoms went away. Oh and by the way, I had Bart symptoms. So I had just addressed those with Houtt.

I was extremely careful with crypto. I started on one drop and VERY slowly went up until I reached my max, which for me was just about a full dropper.

Honestly, it was all a guessing game for me. I had a plan laid out and I stuck to it. But every step of the way I was so unsure of myself.

A good LLMD would have been very helpful.

Just an FYI - I believe CSA is Buhners older protocol for Babs

Instead of alchornea cordifolia he has Bidens Pilosa

Girlie is this the current protocol? This is the most current I could find. If not, do you have a link to the most recent?

Also, for those who have tried it, would it be better to get the three tinctures alone and add them in one by one, or to get the blended ones ( called CSA) and try them all together?

It looks like the website doesn't have it updated.

When I first started herbs for babs, I took Crypto for a month, then added Sida. Then bought a bottle of CSA.

kate - I suggest what tickbite666 did - if you are going to use all the CSA ingredients...buy a bottle of two of the herbs first...and start one at a time before taking the CSA.

Not too well. We had been fighting what we thought was a stubborn mepron resistant strain of babs, and it turned out being Bart or a bart like organism, which I still struggle with. Right now I'm working on getting viral load down (EBV, HHV6, Coxsackie, etc).

Girlie- I see there are two formulas, the CSA and the one with the different herb you mentioned. I am not sure which to take!

So there is a tincture with crypto, sida , and bidens?

Is that woodland essence?

I would do the one with Bidens, since that is what Buhner is now recommending.
