Heart Palpitations - Rifampin herx?

For the past few days/week or so I've been getting more and more heart palpitations, heavy chest and shortness of breath. Has anyone experienced this as a herx affect from rifampin? Man...this drug is really kicking my butt. I've had increased palps today and it's actually my day off!

These chest pains and heart palps are freaking me out. I have been to the ER on more than one occasion in the past 6 months with a tight chest though and every time my heart looks "great". So I assume I just have to deal with it and wait for the glorious day when this symptom goes away for good!

I had horrible heart palpitations from Rifampin the first month. It was a herx for sure. They slowly lessened in frequency and intensity and they are almost gone now (7th week).
