Yes...I've been working Mon - Sat for a few months now.
I am hazarding a guess that your return to work every Monday kicks in a stress load that may be lowering your system. If there is a way you could squeeze in extra relaxation time when you get home on Monday, be extra vigilant of your diet that day...maybe it would make a difference?
Mondays do have the reputation for being difficult for anybody. With Lyme we often feel the effects the next day, particularly if we aren't aware how far we're pushing our selves.I was thinking about
that too, but I usually feel worse on Tuesdays than on Mondays. So maybe it is a delayed reaction to Mondays lol I see my new doc next week; I hope he can give me some clue as to what's still happening!
If only I didn't have to do this whole working for a living thing lol
I really feel for people that have to struggle through.
I used to see the effects of this even before I relapsed, if I overdid one day I would feel it the next, sometimes the next 2 days! Once I relapsed again though, I was done, could barely get through one day. But I was running a retail store business by myself, so...talk about
hard work.
If it gets to that point with you, it might be time to apply for disability, even if it's temporary. Ca. finally approved a Lyme case, but anywhere else I would still recommend applying based on symptoms that prevent you from working, rather than giving it a Lyme title unless you have CDC proof of infection(s).
