Sometimes the hatband feeling, sometimes as if someone is holding your head with their fingertips.

And a 'fullness' in the head with just a hint of feeling that pain is going to start, but usually doesn't.

Just comparing notes for that 'I'm not alone, feeling'. I'm going to go drink some more acv and get my lemon water to see if that helps.

All the time. I always have pressure. I usually have pain. The hatband is annoying. I usually get it concurrently with migraines and headaches. And occipital neuralgia which has been permanent for months. You most definitely aren't alone.

Its babesia. I have it bad. Get on malarone, artimisinen and Enula. Dr J protocol.

I have pressure that feels like legitimate encephalitis, and sometimes it's just near a scar in the back of my head where I got a concussion (skateboarding as a child). I've read that infections gather around and inside scar tissue. Claritin is helping today.

Artimisinen and Enula I get on Amazon. Malarone is expensive. The cheapest place they have it is Walmart pharmacy. My 3 month supply of malarone is about $300. Insurance doesn't help much for my antibiotics.

A prescription is needed for the Malarone but not the other two.

Artemisinin is expensive.

I have pressure in my head - not as bad as it used them be though - it can be Bartonella as well as babs

Hi July Morning,
I used to have head pressure daily and a feeling I call a" blocked Head" kinda like my ears were blocked but only it was in both sides of head.

I've been on Malorone for about a month also I think the Sida acuta helped with it too. I haven't experienced it in while so maybe like others said the Malorone would help.

I am sorry you are feeling those symptoms , I hope you find something that can help you soon.
And Boy do I know how we need to feel like we are not alone with this disease. It can really mess with our emotions too. So hang in there and stay strong. Sincerely, Jo

Knock on wood. The pressure in my head hasn't been too bad lately. But for the last few months it was always there. I kept trying to pop my ears, didn't help. Felt like my head was gonna pop!

Those just happen to be two of the herbs Buhner recommends for Babs - Cryptolepis and Sida acuta

Yes I know but I thought the two articles were interesting. I'm going to start the protocol in a week.

How are YOU doing with your Babs? Did you ever go on mepron/malorone or are you doing herbs only for that?

No, not yet...I am getting closer to it, though.

My LLND changed my Rifampin dosage in the beginning of December so wanted to give that a fair chance as I definitely felt a change on the different dosing schedule.

I have to decid how Im going to take it - whether I put my Bart treatment on hold for a few weeks or alternate weeks - Bart/Babs

Am also looking at buying Enula - from Nutramedix to maybe add to the Mepron and Artesunate.
I have to do some research first.

I read about something order it, and when it arrives I'm like "what is this for?"

Enula is a Nutramedix product (Cowden) and is used for parasites (roundworm, hookworm...and some other worms) and also Babesia.

SEVERE head pressure from bartonella is one of the only things that seems to be able to stip my further treatment as whenever I go further up im Hoyuttima or Sida Acuta I get literal sensations of fingers digging into my skull and feeling as if my brain is expanding/ moving. so frustrating i hadnt had hoyutina until this past 3 weeks and as soon as I go from 7 drops to 10 drops today my head starts feelingg clawed from within!!!!'

Julymorning, I have the headband and 'fullness' on most days. Also some buzzing.
Usually it's worse after I have been more active.

I'm finally coming out of the head pressure stuff! Whew! Kudzu root has done wonders on that for me. I recently went up to a 20:1 concentration of Kudzu root and boy, it did well.

Yes. It's the worst. I found that what helps me the most is L-Drain. Takes a few days, but it's the only thing that works. Red Root (one of the ingredients) on it's own seemed to help too.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. It sure is a weird feeling-the fingertip pressure and hatband. Fairly unlike the pressure headaches I was having before I started Kudzu.

I was thinking inflamed meninges before, because it would get to the point I thought my head was going to explode from the pressure.

This is somewhat lighter but I'm sensing an increasing fullness and hints of aching over my forehead so I'm going back on the kudzu and see what happens.
