Trav I agree but again they want to use it to treat my septic arthritis. Seeing as IV rifampin is used to treat Lyme and co's I don't see it as a problem. I will elect to not go with a chest port and have a nurse do IV to see how it goes. They want 6 weeks of treatment. I have spoken to people who didn't get better with oral and got better with IV. Just looking for more input. I'm aware of the risks for sure but my joint arthritis is my worst symptom and I'm willing to try anything.
