Abho ..there is a black box warning on cipro ..it work for barton3lla and disrupts the dna but can jack yours ...please read risks ...
levaquin maybbe more ...and factive maybe has lyme efficacy

Two doses of Levaquin affected my cns and pns. It caused a world of hell for me. Look up flouroquinolone forums or u-tube videos regarding effects of these drugs.

I had some tendon issues with Levaquin after only 19 days and stopped. But tried Cipro six months later and with no issues and eventual Bart improvements.

i had tendon issues about 13 days into levaquin had to stop will never take it again. cipro is supposed to be milder i was able to take it at 250mg 2x/day for almost a month no issues. also took 500mg 2x/day back in jan 2016 for about 15 days no issues. this go round i'm into day 5 at 500mg 2x/day and the tendonitis in my calves is creeping up and getting some numbness in my big toes and heels.

since i pulse this (one week on every 3 weeks) i'm going to stick it out because cipro is a highly effective killer for gram positive and negative bacteria + it's supposedly the best for going after bart (and i would think very effective for gram negative in general).

CIPRO has 2 black box warnings and shouldn't be on the market. I believe I was ciprofloxed. I was on it continuously for chronic UTIs after bitten by tick. I habe a lot of the symptoms which also cross over into Lyme disease. My dr agrees but states it's hard to prove or diagnose. Don't take CIPRO or levaquin

My doctor wanted to give me Levaquin for my Bartonella, but on the side effects, it states that it can cause permanent neuropathy. That's one of my worst side effects so I declined.

I have heard that all the "floxie drugs" have very bad side effects so make sure you do your research.

There is also a FB group just for people who have been affected by the floxie drugs. That said enough for me, so I passed.
