Bright Yellow Urine

Can medicine have an effect on the color of your urine? Obviously there are other factors that could be affecting this but I've noticed this for a prolonged period of time and thought I'd ask! Thanks

Yes. My multi-vitamin turns urine bright yellow.

B vitamins do that (particularly B2)...so if they're you're multi vitamin - that would happen.

You can stop the multi-vitamin for a day or two..and the bright yellow urine should go away... (if it is from the b vitamins...which it most likely is)

Rifampin turns my pee orange.

Alinia turns my pee neon green/yellow.

It just means it's worth about $10.00 per litre. Or at least that's what you're paying.

i always have that with B vitamins. nothing to be worried about. your kidneys work fine
