Western blots - often don't pick up anything because if our immune system is compromised then we won't be producing the antibodies required for the positive bands.
PCR's are inaccurate because that particular sample may not have any of the bacteria in it...so false positives a plenty.
But, there are labs that are better than others'.
Igenex is one that specializes in tick-borne disease testing...so it's better than Quest...or Labcorp. (more sensitive test, and has more bands.)
I do know a lot of Canadian Dr.'s are using Armin Labs and do find it to be a good lab.
Yes, they all can be inaccurate. What I meant is that Armin Labs were accused of being less reliable than other labs specialised in Lyme. Here is the statement they issued to clarify things:

I think they should be fine. If I needed testing again, I would go there because customer service at BCA lab/clinic is bad in my experience.
