New to a forum!! LOOKING FOR DOCTERS AND CHINESE MEDICINE KNOWLEDE

Hello. I am not sure what thing to post first, as I have never been connected with, a member of, or actively part of a forum, ever! In my life-- imagine that? 🤐 However I had always been reading them for information, but recently in the past 5 months they have been helping me with my research and self regimes so intensely I figured, " hey, why not? So I signed up, and here I am. I think I chose a good community to become a part of.

Just bear with me as I try to figure out how to reply, etc.

But oh boy. Where do I begin my questions and all the things I want to ask the world?

It's 4:20 am and here I am with insomnia but laying next to my husband trying to write softly.

Before I continue-- I'm going to try this as my first post and see what kind of - if any- responses I get!

First things first-- still looking for and intensely knowledgeable LLMD in my area. Maybe there are hidden ones but I can't seem to find any besides ones I think are more like fake scammy boutiques and or university educational hospital affiliations that treat Lyme non existent or heartless, close minded. So theres my absolute biggest question!!

Before I ramble and start my post for "the beginning, since, what I do now for a regimen, what else should I should add or perhaps modify, people's thoughts etc.... thank you for taking the time to read my post, and I hope to hear from yak sooner than later because although I'm doing better lately There's still so, so far to go, and with no super man funds either, I need the best route of action the fastest -- primarily to get back to school and give me my brain back!!!!🤢🤧😷🤒🤕😳😵😡😱😶🙏🏻

Sorry you have Lyme but glad you found yourself here. This board is very helpful with a great collective knowledge of all things lyme.

Where do you live? There is the Zhang clinic in Manhattan. Zhang specializes in chinese medicine and is a lyme doctor. He does Skype if you are not in NYC.

So, let's start with some basics - as ChickenArise said, please do read through our "New to Lyme? thread as it's packed with important and helpful information.

For information on finding a​n ILADS ​(International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society)​ trained​ Lyme Literate Medical Doctor(LLMD) in your area, you will need to enable your email option in your profile in order to receive any recommendations, as we don't allow doctor's names and contact info to be posted on the forum for several reasons. You can enable your email option in your profile, under 'edit profile'. Be sure to click the submit button to actually save your preference.

​ You ​​can send me an email by clicking on my screen name or the small blue envelope under my screen name. I may have contact information for some LLMD's in your area as well.​ ​Please include your state and area that you would like to find a LLMD in and I will see how close I can get to your location.​

​​You can start a new thread titled something like "Looking for LLMD in the ​​
(insert the nearest larger city & state)​​ area". Members can email you about the LLMD's that they see in that area if you have your email enabled. We don't allow doctors names to be posted though.

You will want to find an ILADS trained doctor, as ID Docs (Infectious Disease Doctors) as well as many others, believe Lyme is hard to catch and easy to treat, and don't believe in the reality of chronic Lyme. These infections have a very steep learning curve, so do be sure to ask questions!! We are here to help as much as we can, although I do advise that you continue to do your own research as well, as everyone has different needs in order to heal these infections.

THANK YOU, this is good knowledge as I have been using this as part of my regimen, it;s hard to afford all the colors but I get as much as I can! Definitely Great to hear that someone else knows what that is! Ok, so keep an eye out- I'm about to start my second post.

I live in the SouthEast--NC/N. GA mountains? Does this doc charge alot for skype sessions??
