Has anyone heard of or been to the "LIFESTYLE HEALING INSTITUTE" in Naples, Florida?
Does anyone have experience or insight on what they do to treat lyme, alzheimer's chronic fatigue, etc......?

Lot of testing , lots of IV's...... just wondering if anyone has any experience or knowledge.....

Yep, the red flags were there for me too.... Their website didn't seem very transparent....and yes the lyme as virus thing was disturbing.

I know someone who's daughter is traveling from Kansas (hansa country!) to go there... She read about someone healing there in someone's blog.

From what I could glean, it sounded like a version of Sponaugle to me but I am not sure because everything a little vague with the word proprietary being thrown around a lot.....

I just got back about 3 weeks ago from spending 6 weeks at Lifestyle Healing Institute. I did not get better during my 6 weeks there. I have Lyme Disease and numerous co-infections, also suffer from cognitive impairment, dizziness, severe depression. Naples, Florida is lovely, but I spent a lot of money and the truth is I didn't get better. To be fair I witnessed some patients getting a bit better while I was there, but I did not witness any great improvements in anyone within the span of 4 weeks which is what they claim is their standard treatment time. One thing many people don't know is that Wyatt Palumbo, who wrote the book, "Don't Kill My Lyme" and is the "director" of the clinic, is only 26 years old. He was previously a patient at Sponaugle Wellness Institute, left there, found Dr Dean, and then decided to start LHI. He is very bright, but I believe he lacks experience because he is so young, and Dr Dean was formerly an ER doctor. Their website makes very grand promises which they are not able to deliver for many of their patients. They promise to get you better without killing Lyme and faster than anyone else can do it. Well this is not true. I do believe some people get better there but no one gets better in only 4 weeks. They admitted that their patients who do best are the ones who come back several times (at 15K per month). Their biggest fans online are Anthony Tusisng. He had to take his wife there 4 separate times before she got better. So it's a bit of buyer beware. The staff are all very pleasant, but at times I was not impressed with Wyatt who often walks through the IV room and doesn't even greet his patients with a hello. He may be intelligent but is lacking a bit in the area of communication. The thraorist they send you too is ok-they go on about how great she is, but she annoyed me with certain comments such as "pain is inevitable, but suffering is optional"..I did not find it helpful. She would often say maybe I was choosing to be sick because maybe it was serving a purpose for me..I didn't find that helpful either. During my time there I witnessed 2 patients who were very ill finish their 4 weeks there and not get better at all. One patient said she felt worse. One patient left after 2 weeks because he didn't like the way the IVs were making him feel and he felt it was not helping. Another patient left after 3 days because she had some kind of bad reaction to the IVs. I did not feel they were doing anything revolutionary there. If you email or call them, the person you will speak to is Jack. He is Wyatts father and must be heavily invested in the business because he is a master of recruiting patients. He will tell you that you will get better for sure after 2 weeks. He is extremely friendly and welcoming but again makes a lot of promises which I couldn't see, they are defiantly not able to deliver for everyone. I don't believe they even get 50% of people better. I didn't witness this while I was there. I feel Wyatt and Dr Dean believe they know more than what they actually do. They are not any kind of mental health professionals either. On their website they claim to treat depression. There were two other patients there with me who were also suffering depression and lyme and did not improve during the 6 weeks while I was there. Sorry to write so much! It was not a terrible experience-just an expensive one that didn't help. I am now considering Sophia Institute. Anyone who has been there, please tell me about it!. Thank you so much for taking the time to post ! SO HELPFUL! I know of another young woman that went there and not well after a month so I think decided to stay two more weeks..... not sure of outcome but it didn't sound positive.

AS for the you just don't want to be well comment GRRRRRRRR.....
Just this week, I had a concerned practioner (with a furrowed brow and tilted head) lean in and try to tell me that feeling hopeless was the cause of me not being well........and that was what was keeping me from healing....I had to laugh because it is hope that keeps me trying one thing after another, including her crazy ass alternative treatment! . She then asked me when the last time I felt well was,,,, when I tried to tell her it was complicated (which bout of lyme, what level of wellness, did she mean recently or the 25 years ago before lyme,,,, did she men before I broke my shoulder?) she said, "oh I know after my treatment there is often brain fog and answers become more complicated than they need be. I kind of wanted to smack her new age self because it is just that it IS COMPLICATED and it wasn't brain fog!

I sometimes feel like each and every one of us deserves a MEDAL for surviving even a day with these symptoms, instead of comments like the "choosing suffering"........GAH!

Thank you AK and Girlie for your kind words of support. I would definitely not advise going to LHI at all. I like the comment above from another member of wanting to know how many people who go there actually heal and what do they define as healing? This is an excellent point. I did not see one patient seem to get fully well during my 6 weeks there. I saw some minor improvements in a few patients and some patients who were clearly not better at all. One was of the strong opinion that she felt worse..and like I said, the therapist they send all their patients to (this is built into the price) named "Grace" is is not always graceful. I could tell you plenty more but the best thing I could say would be to advise everyone to not choose this place as your first choice. Now that I have been there and lost a lot of money, I can see clearly there are better options out there to try before LHI. And yes, they are definitely a copy of Sponaugle minus the antibiotics. They used to work there. One patient who was having a lot of trouble with sleep and depression actually discovered the "sleeping medicine" they put him on was actually Seroquel, an anti-psychotic drug. He was not pleased when he learned this. I could go on but won't.

One thing that was Positive is this-while I was there I learned from another patient of a book called "How to Heal Yourself When no One Else Can" by Amy B Scher. I love this book!! Google the author or watch some of her videos on YouTube. She is very inspiring. She had Lyme and other chronic illness and basically healed herself. She teaches people energy healing techniques that they can use on themselves to compliment their current treatment and make it work better and faster. Take a look

after reading Ala52 there's no chance i would go there. if you are willing to invest that kind of money to stay somewhere for a few weeks there are higher chance of success options.

All the information I listed in my post above is still valid. I would definitely not recommend Lifestyle Healing Institute. Their website is very sexy and makes a lot of promises that they are unable to keep to all of their patients. If you are going to spend that kind of money, then I would recommend going to Sophia Health Institute. I have just finished my first two weeks of treatment there and feel that I am in much better hands. Dr Klinghart and his team are brilliant and the ART diagnostics they use are very valuable. There are many factors involved in healing from Lyme and other chronic illness which SHI take into account that LHI doesn't because they simply lack the knowledge. For example, at SHI, I discovered my root canals and jaw cavitations are making me more sick and suppressing my immune system. So my next step in healing will be to see a biological dentist. LHI is clueless about this. I am also very sensitive to wifi and have heavy metal toxicity, particularly in my brain..this is again something which LHI doesn't take into consideration and for some people who are very seriously ill, these are very critical factors. I am keeping in touch still with 4 other patients who I met while at LHI who also went there, spent $15K and did not get better.. Their website has a lot of testimonials on it but keep in mind they will never post any information about patients whose money they took and they didn't get better. What I like about SHI is that they tell patients to expect that healing may take up to two years. This is realistic. There is no such thing as patients getting better in only 4 weeks as LHI likes to claim. Sophia Health Institute is on a much higher level of knowledge, experience, insight, and compassion and you get so much more for your money. I think LHI would be fine if you lived near there and just wanted to get some IV treatments, but beyond that I feel they don't know a whole lot more than a very good naturopath. In all fairness, I have a friend who took her daughter there 8 months ago. She was chronically ill with Lyme, and could hardly walk. She has now been able to go across the country to school. My friend said it was "miraculous" for her. They did start to see improvement in 2 weeks. Just wanted to add what happened for my friends there.

I’ve seen people saying stuff about red flags with no first hand knowledge. In all fairness if people listen to this they just could miss the thing that will help them. They literally saved my daughters life. We had tried so many places, and my daughter was at the end. I prayed for a miracle, and they provided it. Who cares if Wyatt was only 26, he’s a genius.

To clarify: there is absolutely no way that the member claiming that "Wyatt is a genius" is a real patient. Why on earth would someone register for this forum, only to show up and post twice to shill for a clinic that is being exposed as predatory and duplicitous? There is no reason.

We (mods) aren’t going through each post and deciding if the members treatment plan is legit.. or not.

We all have opinions on the various treatments we read about here.

Adam... I spoke to Patrice and saw pictures of her daughter before and after her daughter went to the clinic. It's a real person! Also, I've seen over 50 docs including big clinics such as Sponaugle, Sanoviv Mexico, Sierra Integrative in Reno, Lifeworks, Hansa and the list is long ....bottom line is that no one focuses on removing toxicity which is why we got here in the first place . To video attached to LHI explains how toxins and GI plays an important role. If people don't work at thee two, that's a problem. Wyatt explains that Lyme is a bacteria on the video so Im not sure why people say differently, but he does brings value that other 50 docs I've seen have missed.
I start next week and I pray it'sy answer . I'll keep you guys posted..
