Please call your doctor. You should not guess what is causing this.
Maybe it is a antibiotic, but maybe you have a small bleed.
Please have it checked out.

I had internal bleeding for six months before they could find the bleed. The Dr.'s determined it was caused by a combination of Mupericin and Ampupericin which I took as a nose spray for my mold infection. The drugs caused acute pancreatitus which caused a weakening in my right gastric artery. The bleed was not continuous and every time I went to the ER the bleed had closed up. The last time, I had vomitted 2 liters of blood.
As the others said, call your Dr. immediately please. I was not far from death several times and this caused a stroke.
Good Luck,
Ed

check your medication papers first. (my rx's come with an insert of all the side effects, etc) or find them online. While you should definitely mention it to your doctor, in the meantime if you can read that its common, you can calm yourself down before freaking out thinking its the worst! (I've been doing way too much of that lately! It's not a fun club - I won't let you join!) Lots of things (like Pepto-Bismol) can turn your stool black.
Maybe specify the drug you're taking to get more answers?
But absolutely mention it to your doc.

You can check with the pharmacist, but honestly most of us are saying call the doctor and don't wait.
You are worried or you would not be here asking.
Go make sure everything is okay. I don't want to frighten you, but maybe it is necessary. You can bleed to death from an internal bleed.
I was a first aid responder and a little fella fell at the playground across monkey bars. He went home and told mom he fell and he laid on the couch and died from an internal bleed.
Now please call the doctor and get into see him and if he can't see you, get to the ER.
So much better to be safe than sorry. Said with hugs
