Horrific crushing fatigue

So sorry about the crushing fatigue... I've been there.

I agree w/ kitty - it's very common to have bouts of fatigue with this illness. My guess is going off the thyroid meds is also throwing your body off - sometimes it can be a little risky to stop thyroid supplementation suddenly so I'd get back on it ASAP.

And I'd suggest that you wait until the fatigue is no longer "crushing" before taking any antimicrobials, which are hard enough on the body as it is. You'd just be fueling the fire if you started abx with whatever else is going on. You need to get your body prepared for abx.

Give into the fatigue - sleep as much as you can. Your body obviously needs to power way down. If going back on the thyroid meds doesn't cut it, please talk w/ you LLMD before starting anything new. Consider addressing a high viral(s) load or adrenal issues before taking the next step.

FYI, please stay on your thryoid meds but you might explore getting more accurate testing done if all your MD is going by is TSH. Most MDs look only at TSH but it alone is NOT an indicator of proper thyroid function. Do you know what you have had tested? T3, T4, Reverse T3, Reverse T4? Others?

It's possible that you might also have other hormonal imbalances - but maybe we can talk more after you get the fatigue addressed a little bit. Please let us know how you're doing!

It turns out my rbc were infected with pathogens making it hard to transport o2 and nutrients to muscles that need it ..the more i clear the more i am able to do ...have you tried hh2 and allicin ..it may get your bart down so you can move to zith riffy soon..i live on bee pollen ,panax ginsing ,b12 shots and maca(pulsed) ...i to stopped thyriod meds and am working on getting them working by clearing pathogens

And yet, another thing to consider is viruses. They can often cause horrible fatigue.

When you are prescribed medicines you really should note what happens if you stop them.... So many medicines have horrible side effects if you stop the dosage. Many have to be slowly decreased so as not to cause a problem.

My Mom cannot stop her thyroid meds at all or she is in big trouble physically. I don't know if yout med is the same. Always check with your doctor or the pharmacist. Many times if you run out, a quick call to the pharmacist will give you a pill to hold you over until the script comes in. Especially if there are side effects from a quick withdrawal of the med.

if you make enough headway you may be able to stop the antidepressants. St johns and mucuna bean helped emensly
