its been awhile since iv been on here.....question and seeking advice at this point

I was on here alot summer of 2015 because i was certain i had lyme, I tried all kinds of antibodies, pulse dosage, all kinds of herbs etc. Later found out I was also stage 3 adrenal fatigue . I never herxed or saw any improvement on all the different lyme protocols I tired which made me think i dont have lyme and just had adrenal issues from life style choices during that time period.

Fast forward I have improved some but still have horrible brain fog and pretty exhausted low energy all the time and cant exercise. My most recent igenex testing only showed postive p41 and postive p 18, both high, but everything else negative and ingenex says negative for lyme just like back in 2015.

I did see a legit lyme doctor in summer 2015 one of the only few on that lyme board who had me pulse dose all kinds of meds and herbs for months which did nothing so i stopped, saw no change on or off the lyme treatment.I just dont know STILL if i have it or not and what to do at this point.

I am currently back out of work because I can not go 8 hours without my body wanting to collapse and sleep
even if i sleep tons of hours in a row i dont feel any change in energy or brain fog

Advice at this point would be greatly appreciated please

Hi Myeeszy! I'd say welcome back, but I understand it's not under the best circumstances, so I'm so sorry.

Can you list what you did try - I'm sorry, but there have been so many new members since you quit posting that I no longer remember, and we have a bunch of new members that won't know either.

It may have been that you weren't treating the "top infection" (the one that was holding back your healing and is usually the one with the highest bacterial/protozoan/viral load in the body), or that you needed to try a different approach or maybe even something else.

You definitely sound as if you still have serious enough issues though.

Have you tested for viruses? What about fungal infections? Do you believe you could have other tick-borne infections other than Lyme, or have testing showing that you do?

Also, not everyone herxes - that's dependent on how well the person's body detoxes.

Hi myeezy24 - sorry you are not well.....

Sometimes it takes more than just months to heal these dumb bacteria. It can take a year.

It sounds like you still have lyme disease and you still need to treat. So sorry. Glad you found us again.

Maybe it is time for a new protocol??

Waking up w Lyme is a daily nightmare. I still don't want to believe I have it either. Unfortunately we can't turn symptoms off.

Do you have root canals? Dead teeth?

Are you on an allergy free diet?

have you looked into electrosmog?

How is your sleep quality? Electrosmog in the bedroom?

Just a few ideas to look into....

my sleep is inconsitsant , some nights i get very good sleep alot more lately than not but never wake up wuth energy, trav i have tried every antibodic there is from an llmd for a year period a bunch at a time and pulse dosing, also tried every herb you can think of at high doses since i wasnt having any herx. I also have extremely high past EBV infection which i think is the cause of my adrenal fatigue possibly. my health was 100 percent till 2012 when i had a postive flare up of EBV was in bed for 6 months back to normal for about 8 months and then . started getting low energy and brain fog, feels like no life force, today i went grocery shopping and walking around the store made me get sweaty and dizzy and felt like i had no energy left in me

Then I would suggest that you start on antivirals - either from the doctors or natural/herbal ones.

I have found that high dose lysine is enough to keep my EBV from flaring all the time, but as with all things, it may be different for you. I do know that Buhner has a really good book on antivirals if you are interested.

yes travler whats the book called ? i have his fasting book now which i cant do due to the adrenal fatigue and dips of blood sugar

I'm also sorry you're back but you're in the right place. You, my friend, need to get on antiviral protocol ASAP. This is likely what has overwhelmed your immune system, your endocrine system.

It seems you also have Lyme but maybe, hopefully, it's mostly dormant as you try to get your viral load down. Your past viral history is a huge indicator!

Will try to post more about adrenal fatigue later but the high viral load completely wears adrenals down. Viral load first, then we can work on adrenals, then infection... more later!

So - just to add to my previous post:

I tried SO HARD to use natural antivirals. I tried about 3 different ones, including tinctures that had multiple antiviral components to them (like bacteria, various viruses need different antiviral components to them - they don't all work on everything) and nothing worked as well as Rx and I had to try 2-3 different antiviral Rx before I found one that really worked.

And, I had to take high doses for a couple of weeks in order to make progress, then I was able to get down to daily doses. My liver enzymes also shot up (probably because I was also on an antifungal Rx) and I found out I needed both milk thistle seed and burdock root, but the enzymes responded immediately.

And it's been 2 yrs and every time I try to transition to natural antivirals, I flare so it seems like I will be on the antiviral Rx at least until I'm done with Lyme & Co tx.

All this to say - some people don't want to go the Rx route and that's perfectly understandable. But I think it literally saved my life and my treatment. I wouldn't have been able to tolerate the Lyme & Co treatment w/out reducing viral load first and I was sliding downhill very quickly. And my adrenals were in dangerous levels with the high viral load, etc. So I strongly advise doing what you need to do to get the levels down quickly, and then you can ease into a more long-term antiviral protocol once your immune and endocrine systems aren't so stressed and you're in a healthier place.

Welcome back, myeezy - unfortunately!

Positive kDa 18 is an "unknown". Some critter that they haven't identified yet, but that you reacted to.

Positive kDa 41 is a spirochete of some type. If you can rule out Syphilis, then most of the remaining suspects are primarily tropical diseases. Which brings you back to BB, or maybe it's relapsing cousin. Time to fight back against all these thugs again. BB & co will use the results of the EBV assault to wreak havoc on your body and brain. You might also want to check to see if Babesia came along for the ride as well.
