Can't Find Alka Setlzer Gold - HELP!

It is suddenly no longer available on Amazon. I know CVS sells it, and it's no longer available on their website either. Same with Walgreens (I know they don't sell in stores, but they used to sell it via their website).

Anyone know what's going on?

Weird. I just looked on Vitacost (excellent online store) and it requires you to indicate your shipping location in order to find out if it's available, but doesn't indicate why.

I asked them to order at my local Walmart. It was on next day in pharmacy

Whoa! They're selling on US Amazon for $67.00 per pack! And it's a 10 pack totaling over $300!! WTH? Have they stopped making it or something??

I am in Austin, TX. I know one of the local pharmacies carries it (as does CVS), but Amazon was easier and cheaper.

I went to the Alka Seltzer website and did the locate option. I chose online, and it only gave me one website. I ordered some from there.

But it seems odd that suddenly all the places I know used to sell it don't have it.

The easy assumption is that someone has figured out that their sales of this product has gone up tremendously in the last few years, so they have increased the price since the demand for it is up so much. Gotta love those that only see this as a money making opportunity (complete sarcasm!!!!). eyes

ebay carries it and its cheaper than amazon.

do you have any independent pharmacies near you? bc you can ask them to order it!

I just ordered two boxes of the Alka Seltzer Gold (boxes of 36 tablets) for $4.38 a box, and free shipping with the purchase of two boxes! Great price!

I bought some at CVS and also ordered some from another site. I'm still wondering why it's suddenly more expensive on Amazon and not available on sites it was available on before. There's also not as many options to buy on Amazon. I used to buy it in a bundle of 4 boxes but that's no longer an option.
