Do you happen to know whether he works with insurance and whether insurance will cover IV abx for a period of time?

I've heard good things about his clinic. Sounds like you would first see one of his NPs and then follow-up with him. As far as his use of IV, he might see more good results from it then.

I saw a PA in Jemsek's office a couple of weeks ago, and I was vey impressed. I go back in May.

I am a patient of Dr. Jemsek and have been for 2 years. He is wonderful but does not take insurance and not even for IV's. You will have to file with your insurance and get reimbursed.

He was my last resort (due to how ill I was) when my LLMD of many years dumped me due to my insurance changing to Medicare, even though it was not my primary. I was lucky and got in quick because I was referred by another doc who knew I was on deaths doorstep. I always kept my records organized and sent them ahead. He recommended IV's at a HUGE cost over 9-12 months and we couldn't afford it ( I had already spent $150k over 10 years fighting this disease on other IV treatments). I did do some IV's in his office but opted for oral abx and supplements also following a strict eating regimen. It takes a whole lot longer but I am seeing results slowly.

**People travel from all over the world to see this doctor** He is worth it. I would recommend getting an appointment to see him, getting your records in order and seeing him the first few times until you feel comfortable seeing a PA, which is slightly less expensive.

I'm in Indiana and my LLMD was trained by jemsek and follows his protocol to a T. May be cheaper to see if their office can recommend an LLMD that was trained by jemsek in your area

I've come across a few Dr J patients. Some had great experiences, some not so great. Guess I could say that for a lot of doctors treating these diseases!

Interesting to hear about the oral treatments vs IV, I had the assumption he mostly did IV thanks for sharing the info.

want to be clear no one follows Dr. J's protocol 'to a tee' except his own clinic. he made that very clear to me multiple times across multiple appointments (unless i didn't understand him correctly ;).

he did say many folks try to emulate his protocol but inevitably screw it up because you do need to adjust depending upon feedback from the patient every visit.

while there are some guidelines the protocols i've seen are all different to some degree especially once you get past the first one.
