Which company(s) do you buy from?
Why?
What do you think of these? Do you prefer one over the other? Why?
iHerb
Vitacost

The only company that you list that I have used is iherb. I adore iherb though - generally good prices (although I can find better prices on some things elsewhere), and they ship fast, and their shipping charges aren't outrageous.

I shop the first two sites listed, and occasionally use PureFormulas when I need a single item since they have no shipping costs even on small orders.
VitaCost also has some real good costs on their own VitaCost branded items, and if you do your research you can tell who is making it for them. Like I use to buy Carlson's Norwegian cod liver oil from them then found that their own Vitacost brand is 99.99% identical except for the percentage of one item being slightly lower. Their promotional text on the item is also a direct copy from Carlson's text. Only the manufacturer would allow that copyright infringement.
IHerb had the best price on a Nutramedix tincture I am taking... even lower than Amazon, and they offer cash back points on your next purchase.

I like iherb too - they have a lot of organic Gaia supplements, Nutrimedix, Byron White tinctures, etc. They also offer discounts based on your purchase price (although you have to use them up quickly).
I buy some things direct from the mfr - like japanese knotweed (biopure.com), turmeric (god something - can't remember).
And I buy some Beyond Balance products from another company (email me if you want it) because I can get access to some tinctures w/out practitioner's purchase code. And other stuff I get from a compounding pharmacist.

i used idealvitamins
They have the cheapest of my supplements i have found, and loyalty discounts and points. Free shipping BUT it can take a long time - up
to 10 days. But sometimes i get them in 3. Inconsistent, but worth the savings for me.
If they don't have what i need i use Pure Formulas and recently natural healthy concepts.

I use to shop at Vitacost and PipingRock for their specific brands because of their prices, but changed over to using Amazon and known brands like NOW or Jarrows; based on the supplement. The fillers and sizes of VC and PR turned me away from them.

Here's a list I recently came across that is partially excerpted from Stephen Buhner's book and partially from other sources: http://buhnerhealinglyme.com/resources/general-herb-sources/
