Second Bicillin shot - went much better!

Good morning,
Last night I gave DD the Bicillin for second time. I decided to keep her at half dose (1.2 mil) - we'll ramp up next time. The first time I injected her I really struggled to push the med through the syringe. Not sure what I did wrong, but I played with it a lot, watched a lot of YouTube videos, and it was much easier this time. Still hurt DD a lot, which is no fun, but I'm trying to focus on killing those little bacteria buggers! She didn't vomit, as she did last week. We'll hope for no herxing. Onwards...

Thanks for reporting back! Sounds like you're making progress!

So glad she didn't vomit - that may also have been nerves. Poor girl.

Hope things go as smoothly next time, too.

Please keep us posted. She has lots of detoxing in place?

Thanks for the encouragement! @Girlie - yes, a fair amount of detox in place (not as much as I would like), but hard go get her to do more than what she's already doing. If she does start to herx, it will probably be a motivating factor to increase.

I took Bicillin for a good while. The first time, never really herxed, but it did make a huge difference. On a recent relapse, it didn't seem to do as much, but may be because of co-infections.

But it was a good medicine and did not hurt my stomach. Hope it works as well for you.
