Dr. D. L. in Virginia beach for Lyme treatment

Does anyone know about this doctor or do you know anyone who has gone here for treatment. It is based on homeopathy and bio-energetic treatment which is supposed to stimulate and correct immune system imbalances to enable healing from Lyme disease. He healed his family and began studying these disciplines to help others. Please let me know if you have either positive or negative information. Once again, thank you

I would love to hear about your experiences with this practitioner, as I was seeing someone and he wasn't communicating very well with me. So I opted to get acupuncture from him, but see a LLMD instead.

Sorry, Cokie. My response wasn't very clear. I would love to know what your experience is like with the bioenergetic testing and homeopathy. I haven't seen the particular practitioner you are asking about, but I did see someone who practices the same type of medicine.

I had a bad herx on the homeopathic treatment, and that wasn't at full dose. I may could have been healed, but I had a hard time getting the practitioner to communicate with me about the appropriate timing to up the dosages and deal with the herxes. Thus, I only see him for acupuncture now and instead see a LLMD.

That's never something a person can promise to a Lyme patient, Cokie. That's because as the bacteria die, they release toxins. It's much more based on how well your body detoxes than the type of treatment you use. Although some treatments may cause more severe herxing in some and not in others. For me, pharma abx causes too much herxing and my body can't handle it. With herbs, I can control the herxing enough to get through treatments. We are all very unique creatures, as is this bacteria, so what works for one may not work for another for many reasons.

If you don't get many responses, can you just go in for a consultation with this dr? Talking with them may help you decided if it's something you want to try or not.
