Was this doctor a LLMD? That looks like a common rash associated with Lyme - not quite the full bulls eye rash, but close. If it's related to Lyme, the rash can come and go through out treatments - but that shows the bacteria is still active in the skin at least, so please do continue treatments for at least 2 months past the resolution of all symptoms -even the rashes.

And I would say that the aches that you are experiencing are from herxing. If that's the case, no you won't be left with arthritis, unless you already have it. I have arthritis, but Lyme also mimics arthritis in other areas of my body. I know this because when I was healed, I did not have nearly as many joints affected by arthritis.

Are you detoxing? Would you list what you are doing for detoxing so we can make suggestions if needed?

Are you taking any anti-inflammatories? That will also help ease those symptoms too.

I get the stiffness and soreness only when herxing, Then it goes away. So I agree with Girlie and I think we wont have it long term. Epsom salt baths help me with it and you might want to consider taking Curcumin for inflammation.

Yes Epsom salt baths are good for detoxing.

On our new to Lyme page there is many suggestions for detoxing check it out when you get a chance.

I always feel much better after a epsom salt bath.

Remember don't use to hot of water lukewarm is better.. Too hot can cause more die off of bacteria and more herxing.
