Cipro for lyme

I don't know where to ask this. I know a lot of you here research antibiotics. Before I was diagnosed with Lyme. I had a uti that my dr put me on CIpro. Not only did it make me feel like 1000 times better. I got wonderful sleep.

Would anyone know what in Cipro gave me the best sleep in my life? Or how I can replicate it w/o Cipro.

I don't know why Cipro would give you a great sleep.

Have you tried the usual remedies?

Melatonin, Valerian, L-Theanine, Kava, chamomile, lavender, etc.

Some herbal sleep remedies have a combination of herbs.

With melatonin - often people try a low dose and then give up on it...but if you raise it (in small increments) you may find it works. Also, there is time-released melatonin.

Uti are often bartonella vinconii .a gram negative .cipro hits that hard however damages dna ...thus the flouride black box warning against floxing...
i would treat bartonella with zhang hh2 and his allicin .also oil of oregano hits it good ..if you ever had cats its likely you have a form of bartonella there are 100 different species ...regular docs test for 2 b.quintana and b .henslae

I've tried the usual remedies and then some.

I am also very familiar with the black box warning of Cipro. That's why I'm not on it currently.

I'm looking to see if there is an ingredient or processes my body is doing while on the medication that would make me sleepy.

It scared the Bart that does not let you sleep? Kidding aside, when I have Riffy, Azitro and get to full dose of Minocycline I start to sleep spontaneousy, but I attribute this to Minocycline beeing antiinflamatory on the brain.

Joking aside i think this is correct .bart has a really toxic lps and when under duress it could have cause a nice comatose .maybe try alinia and see if it has the same effect ..or rifampin and zith.

now to joke maybe it was the dna disruption cipro does that would make anybody sleepy .possible a cigar habit or sleeping next to a microwave while on would have a similar effect
