Looking for LLMD in/near St. Petersburg, Florida

I'd like to find an LLMD fairly local that can help me to either confirm or deny Lyme disease that also accepts insurance.

VikingGirl, sorry it took so long to get to you, my internet connection sux.

I'm going to email you some LLMD's that hopefully are in your area, but I don't know Fla. well, so I don't know for sure. Message me back if they're all too far away, or message Girlie, she has a more extensive list.

So Insane - In the same area and looking for Lyme Specialist - Believe after my Spec brain scan and bloodwork, and symptoms that I have chronic Lyme, but being in Tampa Bay Area of Florida makes this much more complicated.

Thank you for the welcome, I could absolutely use any info you have on LLMDs in Florida!

Viking Girl I am currently looking to be tested too, but I have many symptoms and signs and anticipate Lyme, so I will let you know if I find a good doctor who takes insurance in the area! I Will be hoping to find the best optition in either Pasco or Hillsborough or farther if that's what it takes.

If you find someone give me a shout out! I have heard that it's hard finding those who take Insurance.

I have tried or contacted about everyone on list. The only one who takes insurance is in Gainesville but she has a six week minimum wait and has to approve u. The Dr in Orlando is a great guy who does his best to help in all ways but it's nit his specialty. Dr h in Jacksonville is who I picked. Very good staff, and Dr is very smart and caring

Dr. H does not take insurance. I have seen her and felt more like an ATM than a patient. Be very careful! We all seem to be in the same boat without a paddle. After looking over the lists of doctors in Florida, seems like we are not in the best state to find the proper help. Lots of pros and cons with many of the doctors. When insurance is not taken, receiving the proper help could be very costly.
