Hi, i have read that you are talking of putting oil on cover slip to make a seal, in the previous parts.
You can also use vaseline. The advantage is that it's not liquid, so it will not mix with the blood.

You can put it on the cover slip with a cotton bud. The thiniest layer possible.
I think that it's also possible to put it after having put the cover slip on the slide.

And also it's important to don't put too much blood, otherwise it will be a mess ;-)

Hey TOOTY i'm halfway through Plague Time. Awesome recommendation!! It's not an idea that is foreign to me (obviously) but it did fix a last missing piece of the puzzle in my understanding which is "how exactly do we separate these Lyme-like illnesses from the typical 20th century infections". By understanding the transmission pathways that make them such... though he didn't talk about Lyme much under his model the low mobility of a tick means a reduction in transmission frequency means that Lyme HAS to be chronic in order to survive. At least compared to the flu or malaria. Mosquitos are highly motile and abundant vectors capable of rapid and frequent transmission meaning latency is less of an issue. Malaria can make you ill, kill you in two weeks and still have enough time to be picked up by another mosquito to spread. Lyme only exists because it is chronic. Then syphilis has an even more insidious latent stage than Lyme because sexual transmission between new partners in monogamous culture is less frequent that tick transmission in the wild. And my initial thoughts are that the most insidious causes of cancers and such are then probably the microorganisms that never actually leave the host. That exist in very small copy numbers, transmit from mother to child, never cause acute illness and therefor probably aren't even known to modern medicine. They must remain asymptomatic almost 30+ years in order to spread and so they stay very very quiet only generating diseases by accident. Much like our mucosal microbiota. In other words virulence is directly related to host exchange dynamics, often times frequency being a strong factor and Lyme sits right in the middle. Devastating, yet not often deadly. A perfect window into both ends of the spectrum. My mind is blown right now. I'm sure there are plenty of exceptions... But just as a general sort of evolutionary explanation to the diversity of pathogen behaviors this is a very very exciting find leading to a lot of possibilities

I honestly found that video confusing as all hell. At times it just seemed to be switching between random slide images.

Spectacular healrom! Are those plan lenses ? What brand of scope are you rocking? Is that your blood ? Also are you using additional led lighting? Very clear what is your capture device?

For my microscope, it's an AMcsope.
I have bought a second hand 100X objective. It's a Reichert.
I don't know it's exacts specifications. Maybe it's a semi plan achromatic. Because it's written SPI on it.
It's a glycerin immersion objective, not oil, with diaphragm.

Yes it's my blood.

And yes I have modified the lighting. I've put the light from a led spot. It gives 450 lumen, with a beam angle of 100°. (it's 5W light). It's barely enough, but ok.

And my capture device in fact is not so good. It's not so bad either smilewinkgrin , but I can capture videos only in 640x480. Otherwise, it becomes too slow in terms of FPS. It's a Logitech webcam C525.
If somebody is interested, I would recommend a C920.

I've made a new video. it's what I call "false psirochetes". It's things that develops in the blood. And could beconfused with spirochetes. I was thinking already that it's not spirochetes. And with the 100X objective, I can see that they are composed of round very small bacteria. It can be seen on the video, but less than in real.
There can be plenty of it when the blood is in a bad state. Like hundreds, thousands.

Well done again ..however i believe that is borrelia encysting and replicating by division .i have seen spirochetes break off from those "spagetti factories and others that look like Medusas .i see them in the sickest of people...maybe tooty or mustard can interject here?

I'm not sure of that. Even if I don't affirmate anything, because it's hard to know.

But since a long time of using the microscope on my blood, I think that it's separates things.

I think that all these organisms are linked to intestinal permeability, or inflammation (herx reactions).
Because I see more in my blood when I have herxs (that may also increase intestinal permeability)

Also for a time my blood came back clean (I will try to come back into this state!) but there was still spirochetes.
Also at another times I succeded to eliminate all the spirochetes of my blood (recently with the buhner protocol) And there still was these organisms.

Another things that I noticed are that, if you do a physical activity before looking at the blood, it is WAY more clean. It makes a huge difference. I think that it's because the lymph may be circulating better, and cleans the blood.
The minimum to have this efect would be walking on a slope. Just walking is not enough. You need that your heart rate raises a little.

The other thing that I have noticed, is that the next day after having made a party and drank alcohol, the blood is messed. Many organisms of this kind. It is known that the alcohol can raise the intestinal permeability, so it is logical.

The spirochetes had to replicate from somewhere in your blood or body tissues if they returned .?
I tend to agree with your gut permabity theory as i ask people not to eat 2hrs before viewing ...if one eats say a sandwich the amount of "triglycerides is exponentially increased.

In the phase contrast of john b he indicated that the weird shapes are lform and if you watch long enough you may see spirochetes emerge from one of these communities .maybe time lapse would help us sort this out .what treatments do you hope to clear your blood again .do you lyse or crush cells to verify that they are not just "hiding intercellularly? As i find this is the case when i am on bee venom or allicin

I think that the spirochetes live in communities (biofilms) in different places, according to the strain and the level of infection.
And that they goes froms these places to the blood. Maybe going inside the RBC's, by passing through capillaries.

I dont think that they reproduce from the blood.
In the blood, they can all disapears and come back the next day. So it's not the place where they really reproduce and really live. Also the spirochetes can't "swim" in the blood because it's too liquid. They need places with more "gel" constitency to move (at very fast speed)

I can't do timelapse with my setup. So I can't say about the weird shapes that give birth to the spirochetes.

Yes, I always crush my blood to see the spirochetes. You can see it without crushing or lysing the cells only when you have a huge number inside your blood.
They are intracellular because they come from the inside of RBC. If you don't crush the blood, at some point you will see them exits the RBC.
I have also videos of that.


For the organisms that I have in my blood, for a while they disapeared. I was taking amoxicilline and digestive enzymes. It's one or another, but I don't know which one that was efficient. I will try to take digestive enzymes again to see, hoping it's that that was effective.

In DF, you can see if there will be a lot of organisms even before crushing the blood, or waiting. When the RBC have a center ring, which looks like a target cell, you can know that it's in fact tons of micro-organisms in it. It's something that I have noticed. When you look at it, it's like some sort of "pouch" and it looks like it's "floating" in the currents of plasma.
When my blood was clean (but still with spirochetes), the RBC was, for most of them, just rings with no secondary ring inside them.

In itself the video is not very interesting. But it's to show that the quality of my blood improved. I'm taking digestive enzymes and I think that it's linked to that. (I was taking it especially for this purpose)

There are some things on the bottom of the slide, but it's artefacts.

It's somewhat a complicated question.
Now the spiros are probably not in my blood. When I take my plants, they disapears. But they come back when I stop.
For my symptoms I improved slightly with the Buhner protocol. It's not very good, but it's still something, because I never improved with anything before. And even with the antibiotics the spirochetes were still in my blood (while taking it)
So I guess I have less symptoms than other people. But for exemple, I can't work. It's been 4 years that I don't work...
