When my candida is not active, I always eat fruits.
During lyme but no active candida, i always ate fruits.
When candida gets active, I lower the amount of high-sugar fruits, but never cut all of the fruits.
My body feels so well with fresh veggies and fruits, so why would I go against that?
I could always reach remission of lyme during fruit consumption.
Now I'm 8 years lyme free, never ever drop fruit consumption either (except, as I said, when candida is active).
My lyme practitioners never mentioned to drop raw fruits either.
I guess if you have many other fresh alternatives to eat, fine to cut fruits.
But substituting fresh fruits for cooked-whatever is not good either, at least in my case.
But I have also seen people who could barely digest a leaf of lettuce, so ... for them whatever cooked was the only alternative. So why not drop fruits then (for them)?
I suppose each body is different, or in different phases of healing....
I would feel like dying if you take off my raw fruits and veggies!
Some people feel like dying if you add raw fruits and raw veggies!! !(bloating like hell)
Go wonder.... I guess you win a Nobel prize or better if you find some fixed diet that works for everyone!
