OK I don't know whether to get the complete co-infection panel, the comprehensive babesia panel, West Coast babesia panel or the complete babesia panel. I'm thinking the complete co infection but if it's a waste idk please help confused.

I just did the western blot IgM and IgG. Test number 188 and 189 with Igenex.

I knew that lyme didn't come alone in my body, but everything I read said how unreliable the co infection testing was. I am a cheap person. I would not have believed a negative and a positive would have made me wonder. So I figured, why do it?

Something you will have to wrestle with..... If you have the money to spend, why not?

It depends on how much you're willing to spend.

If I had a ton of cash laying around - I'd do a lotta tests...but I don't...

The best bang for your buck is the Lyme WB Igm and IgG for $210 total. Have you already done the Lyme testing?

If you're wanting to test for co's - I would do Babesia and Bartonella. Not the complete panels...hopefully someone will post that has done the Babs and Bart testing.

I have all the symptoms of babesia, Lyme is a specific strain of bacteria like the co infections I could very well not have. Im pretty sure i have babesia that's why I want the test but when I saw all the options I was overwhelmed. And another question how do u get them to be positive? Or r these one's more accurate?

No, the confection testing is less accurate/reliable than the lyme.

You can do a search (upper blue bar ) and type in Babesia and bartonella Igenex tests...or something like that..and see what other members have tested for.

Dna connexions test for 12 microbes. ..no doc needed ..best bang for bug ..and dime to dollar if you have babs there is a good chance you have borrelia

I've heard stories of ppl swearing they have Lyme and it's a co infection it's been almost 15 years this is my first test I'm purchasing so i want to be as accurate as i can be.i have all babesia symptoms.

BUMP - for someone who has done the Igenex Bart and/or Babs testing - which ones are the better ones?

Good to know. Do they report details of strains?
And they take forever to give the result, that the patient will die from waiting.
