infusio (blood stem cell) treatment for lyme, whos going? who has been? what do you think? plx read

Hi everyone.

Ive tried the antibiotic protocol and although it helps me, i can ONLY tolerate IV treatment and after around 6 months I relapse. ive been this process twice now and each time its utterly heartbreaking.

You see my IBS cannot cope with any oral antibiotics (at the start of this nightmare i could tolerate some but never in the doses needed to get better) and so im left with much less options.

I live in the UK, there is only one place that does IV abx for lyme and its 8 hours from my house. They do not do home treatments. I cannot afford the treatment long term or cope with the travel, the extra child care bills, nor can my husband take the time off (which is unpaid).

I recently came accost a treatment in Germany/Beverly hills which involves giving stem cells from your own blood (very safe, not like other stem cell treatments) they also use ozone iv treatment among other things before so its a whole protocol. it lasts about 10 days.

a friend of mine (whom i met on line) went approx 2 months ago and has made some amazing progress,she says in her own words she is symptom free aside from her tinnitus.
but also i watched a young lady on you tube who is still waiting for the healing process to start (it can take a long time, doesn't mean its not working but not the same for all) and on the down side, another person told me they had a friend who went there and it made no difference, in fact she told me she had THREE friends go and non of them got better. (not sure if she was just antie stem cells though and was very draining to chat to, you know the ones who like to say negative things a lot (for instance she told me no one ever gets better from lyme and she has has it 30 years, which was most discouraging for me as i was about to have my first ever abx treatment and desperate for some hope at that point.

in terms of "does this work?" to be honest i think its going to be alot to do with whats actually going on with in us, on how successful it is. non of us are the same, so we cannot always judge by another persons story what will work for us. when i say within us, i think different types of bacteria, viruses, inflammation ect many things that we cant even control. but some do get lucky. they get lucky and they get there mobility back which is the one thing i want more then any other.

so im now thinking of selling my home to go. i dont need this house, i cant clean it, and i spend all day in one bed anyway. this was my dream house to have kids in and have chickens in the garden and a veggie patch. i spent all my time looking out into a messy back garden and feeling like life has stopped.

what are you thoughts?

I still don't fully understand how stem cells could clear the infection. I get that a stem cell treatment might be useful once you are cured (to heal any lasting damage) but I am curious as to how this might help in beating the lyme.

i think the treatment they do before is very important too, the thymus (spelling?) treatment is suppose to be important for fatigue for instance.

I have had stem cell therapy on both knees twice and right thumb/wrist joint to repair arthritis damage. I discussed this with the DO because Lyme & co damaged my knees after the first treatment. Stem cells will help to "reset" the inflammation rampaging through your system after the critters have been killed off. I suspect that they also assist in the detoxing of the body since there will be a substantial amount of debris left from the antibacterial treatment. It isn't cheap and there are no guarantees.

They inject Thymus extract into your Thymus (gland).
