Hey, hope everyones feeling ok today.
about me, here I am again with abdominal issues. Been off abx and herbs for a few months. Sunday evening/Monday morning I had an attack or sorts for the 3rd time. Its starts with pain in my abdomen, mainly lower like IBS symptoms, but then ill start feeling a slight pain across my back, about midway up. At this point I can hear gas or food rumblings. It very quickly escalates to excruciating back pain, and colon pain just left of the gallbladder.
I am not convinced its gallbladder, because I can press on it and its not painful. Sore maybe, but not even remotely close to the pain I experience in my back, lower abdominal area, and complete colon. The only thing ive tried with minimal help is ACV in water at time of the attack. The attack still lasts about 3-4 hours. Then ill either pass gas, or have a bowel movement.
I believe its slow motility trapping gas/stool. I guess the next time it happens(if it does, and I expect it to) is try some epsom salts in water which I read dilates the ducts and lets stones through in an experiment to see if it is indeed the gallbladder.
Thoughts? Pain levels are to the point of readying myself for the ER. But I managed to avoid it. Somehow.
I am thinking of either going back on abx(mino, bactrim, maybe rifampin) or herbs(knotweed, cats claw, houttuynia).
Again, thoughts very much appreciated. Taking off work again today to relax. Ill check back off and on today. Thank you!
