I know this sounds morbid...but ever since I got since I almost want my successful friends and family to fail. I feel like a bad person for thinking that but I can’t help it. Some of my friends that are not smart are so successful now and itmake me really jealous. It makes me not want to talk to any of my friends anymore because I’m tired of hearing about their lucky and happy lives.

Before you say things like this you may want to correct your grammar and spelling in your own post first.
And also.... It's not just the lyme making you feel this way. Plenty of people have lyme and they manage to maintain a good worldview.MAF249 - your post is not helpful...YES, neuro-lyme CAN cause these feelings she is experiencing. AND, some of the medications can add to psych symptoms - anxiety for one.
I did not mean to be insensitive, I ended up reading more posts after I had posted that and now realize the full situation. what I said may have been harsh in this setting.
although, on the other hand, neuro-lyme, medication side effects, and stress etc.etc. are not a pass for us to look down on others or wish ill-will upon other people.
I wouldn't want this forum to ever be a place where people come and just expect to be agreed with and coddled for whatever they have going on. Since we represent a disease that already has a negative connotation associated with it, we should be more kind. we should set an example of how we expect to be treated by others despite the way the medical community and biology itself is treating us.
