Yes, it's common for hormones to get a little wacky w/ Lyme & CO and when you start treatment. For some women it's really bad. We've had quite a few discussions here about it - you can find them through a search.
A good part of the reason is that Lyme & Co disrupts the HPA axis (hypothalmus, pituitary, adrenal) which interacts directly with thyroid and so many other functions that rely on and also produce hormone functions.
Additionally, many of us w/ Lyme & Co and/or treating it have issues with methylation and detoxing, which get exacerbated by the infections AND our cycles since methylation depends on hormonal and chemical functions and production.
And since menstruation is a form of detoxing, I have found my cycle improved, PMS calmed down, once I started a comprehensive detox protocol. So you might want to try that.
