chest pain and burn

I am new to this forum- I used to be a teacher My name is G.

My chest burns all day and my breathing is affected...had lyme test finally! 5 baNDS after going to so many doctors

only got doxy
did nothing

tried chinese herbs- nothing
homeopathy- nothing
feel crazy all the time

does anyone else have chest problems
and brAIN problems
all I do is cry

I'm also so sorry you are struggling.

I agree w/ PeteZa, it's important to start with finding a good partner. You likely need more investigation into what is ailing you.

As you'll read in the thread PeteZa mentions, there are several reasons why the doxy you took might have been ineffective - too low dose, too short a course, not enough detoxing, not enough other body and immune support, GI problems that interfere with properly absorbing what you're taking and also hamper immune function (70% of the immune system is in your GI), the presence of other coinfections that are very common with a tick bite, viral or fungal levels that increase because of the overload on the immune system, etc.

I'm sorry you are suffering with this disease. You're not alone.

If you're treating with antibiotics, then you need a LLMD to guide you. A few weeks of doxycycline isn't going to do anything to heal you.

When we've had these infections (lyme, plus coinfections) it will take many months to years to heal fully. But, on the way to full healing, you will see symptom improvements.

No, you are not too old to get better. I am in contact with a lady who is in her mid to late 60's and she has been in remission for a couple of years now. I believe she treated for 3 1/2 years.

I treated... First lyme , then bartonella...and now I'm working on Babesia.

It's a long haul...as you can see in my signature line...and there isn't enough room to continue posting my protocols.

One more thing, try to spend time outdoors in clean air and see if that makes your breathing better. If it does, then you very likely are still being exposed to mold.

Sauna, I am told, can help a lot with getting mold toxins out, but you probably won't be able to tolerate the heat until you get your lung and breathing issues under control.

An ERMI test is the only mold test for an environment that can give you and your doctor a realistic picture of how much mold is in your current home and how it is likely to affect your health.

Mycometrics is the lab the mold doctors recommend and trust to do the ERMI test. The kit and analysis cost $300. It comes with instructions of how and where to take the dust samples. When you get your results, you can call the lab and they will tell you which molds are too high and the conditions in which those species are likely to be found.

I had air samples and swabs taken by two inspectors and I did the ERMI myself. I can tell you the ERMI was far more valuable. The inspector who took the air sample said the air sample report said the mold levels were "acceptable" - wasted $500 on that guy and his worthless testing.
