Weird situation need help opinions wanted!

I understand, thanks for putting that into perspective. Then the lady must have had lymes. Or it was in the bottle. Because I found a guy that was in the same place same lady same symptoms.

I legitimately think it was done intentionally. Bad people. And the hiding the bottle thing doesn't make sense to me. They tried to tell me it was baby oil and when I said I'm gonna get a sample they knew we were on to somethin and panicked. What am I supposed to think?

Your telling me this is lyme doing all this? Its hard for me to convince myself its not some sort of new age STD or or man made virus.

1) Is saliva risky for me and my gf?

2) does lyme make your skin breakout like crazy?

3) Does it cause acute sickness in the beginning like it did for me?

If you would have asked me "do you think I have lyme" without the positive lyme results I would say "I'm not 100% sure, but it sounds like it".

But you are positive for lyme, so now when you ask "can lyme do this" the answer is definitely yes.

Your symptoms are mild, I repeat MILD compared to what lyme can and has done to some of us.

Just hope skin rashes is the worse physical symptoms you experience from this (yes its very common). Yes, flu like symptoms as the first thing is the one of the most common ways lyme manifest. It did for me.

all of this could be lyme, yes.

maybe you have lyme with a side order of some kind of skin/urinary tract infection? but yes, you do have lyme and need to be treated for ti

Yes. Lyme and coinfections are more bizarre than you could ever imagine. Flu-like symptoms are the most common first sign, which many people ignore because it just feels like the flu. It’s when all the other weird stuff happens they seek help and often go through multiple doctors and diagnoses before finally pinpointing Lyme.

Yes, it can affect your skin. It can affect everything. And I do mean every. single. thing. I have hideous acne/keratosis all over my arms that I’ve never had before. Lyme and Co has affected my brain, head and shoulders, my eyesight, my teeth, my sense of taste, ringing in ears, my thyroid which leads to hair problems, my weight, my back, hips, arms, legs, toes, genitalia, breasts, EVERYTHING.

I strongly encourage you to work through the “New To Lyme? start Here” thread that’s sticky posted on this forum. If you can’t read so much, try finding the documentary “Under Our Skin”, it explains a lot.

I’m not caught up on all the latest research, but I do not believe Lyme is transmitted through saliva.

A shady massage palor had enough scientific know how to obtain Borrelia (lyme) bacteria, harvest it, keep it alive, contain it, put it in oil (I don't even know if it continue to live in oil) and then precisely rub it on you where it enters your urethra?

Boy that is astronomically unlikely.

Everything I have read about lyme shows that it is VERY hard to grow outside of the body. Thats why it wasn't studied in depth until recent times (like the 80's?) I am 99% sure it isn't growing in the lotion/oil bottle at the shady massage parlor. What makes more sense to me is that they know they are shady, they don't follow hygienic procedures in their facility (clearly, they perform sexual acts), and they didn't want any tests ran on their stuff. Doesn't mean they were intentionally infecting anyone.

I am of the camp that believes that most everyone has lyme bacteria at this point, but most also have the immune system to keep it in check. The dirty, shady massage parlor probably gave you a UTI. That freaked you out enough that the stress, and the infection gave way to the lyme bacteria. Poof! Now you're suffering like the rest of us.

The good news? You had a positive lyme test! Now you KNOW what is really is, you can stop worrying about that shady shady place and begin treating lyme.

Thanks for getting back, to be honest the first time I went back with my step father they tried to give me "baby oil" and took me into a room they don't even use (1 bottle instead of like 10 random ones). It wasn't until I went back and told her I knew it wasn't baby oil that they panicked. Grabbed specific ones and ran out. It had to either be what was in those bottles or from her hand? I mean a hand? It just doesn't add up.

plus theres another guy and he swears by the same story. same place. shady people.

I got checked for UTI with symptoms within two days. Nothing. It all started like UTI/STD symptoms and then a few days later I got extremely sick. All downhill from there now my main concerns are spine pain and urinary pain I twitch a lot too.

You don't think since this lady probably does all kinds of things with all kinds people she could have some sort of unknown std that's floating around? or a virus? and that I had lyme all along.

I remember as a kid (14 years ago maybe) going to a friends house and his dogs created a tick issue and I woke up with them once or twice. I didn't test IGENEX after this incident, feeling so bad with no answers (tons of bloodwork cultures hospital visits) until this summer but i'm not sure if that means its recent or what. I didn't have a single symptom before this incident now I'm a mess
