Decided to push the fitness envelope these last two weeks in certain muscle groups, knowing the possible negative side effects. Every couple months my recovery time has improved since last February. Seems like my muscle issues / damage just improved to another level.....again.
The next part of this experiment is seeing how my muscles feel after NOT working out for a long time- but right now I don't want to do that.
Tried something the second time for my neck/top of shoulders and IT bands (outer leg) at the chiro / P/T called Graston. It didnt work before ABX, but seems to now. Once the capillaries break a little under the skin (red/bruised), the re-healing of soft tissue begins again. To best describe it, I'd call it "longitudinal pressure dragging" with the direction of the muscle being treated. Ive done this myself where I can reach, but its hard to do.
Think I found the back of left shoulder blade being responsible for my left arm tightness, must be the nerve getting pinched in there as Graston helps this more than slow rolling on a golf ball did.
My left foot still cramps with prolonged standing, but less after Graston on my Left out leg / IT band area. It would be a dream to fix that after 20 years.
Went off one year of ABX two years ago. Had muscle recovery issues for last 30 years, almost MS like after 2004.
