Hi!

My son had to stop abx in August because his WBC were so low-1.1. So that was pretty scary. He has been on just Japanese knotweed, gou teng, houttuynia and sida acuta. His physical sx are probably 85% but he has anxiety and ocd. He is able to go to school, misses a few classes a week. Brain fog much reduced. I would like to blast the bugs with something-either Bactrim and something? Or maybe Chinese medicine or chronic tonic?

Dr. C want to do a bowel test for candida and many other things. My son still has very elevated IgE.

Have his WBC come back up somewhat in the past month?

Elevated IgG for what?

Bactrim is a good med - it hits things hard..IMO. maybe too hard at times. (I've tried taking it a few times)

I watched some of this yesterday. Wondering if anyone else watched all the speakers? If you don't turn it off after Horowitz, you can listen to the other speakers. I got to listen to Spector. VERY interesting talk, especially what he says about antibiotics for Lyme and the direction Lyme research needs to head toward. There's more after him. I'd like to hear the others too.

Yes, I saw that there was more to watch after Dr. H. I was planning on going back to it later...but ran out of time at the end of the day.

Spector's talk was fabulous! Targeted therapy...I so agree with this. This should be a separate thread because I think this is the next generation of Lyme Disease treatment. A lot can be learned from cancer research for lyme disease. I've been saying this for awhile that the overlap is amazing.
