Who Sees Dr. Jemsek?

I just got my latest MRI and it shows numerous white matter lesions even after treating off/on with everything for the last 5 years and I am worse.

Of course MS is always on every one of my doctor's diagnosis and they dismiss lyme or co-infections.

I am thinking about going to the Jemsek Clinic and I know there are many opinions about this doctor. I welcome them all. I am desperate.

Do you have specific questions? DS has improved tremendously the past 2 years. The first 6-9 months were rough but the pulsing seems to work for him.

Dr. J claims that others try to copy his self-patented pulsing protocol but eventually screw it up hence why you need to work with his clinic and not a copycat. He is very well known in the lyme community alongside Dr. Horowitz (who likes the limelight more) and has treated many patients.

His success rate cannot be independently verified. I do know folks who've been going to him for a long time that aren't better. Same for Horowitz and I'm sure other LLMD's so hard to gauge effectiveness when comparing others. He does have two things that are somewhat unique to him. His pulsing protocol and the vast number of people's he's treated over the last 15 years.

Him and Dr. Horowitz were instrumental in looking to use Dapsone and PZA to regimens to get people better. Both claim they came up with it but who cares as long as its there.

I have MAJOR problems with their administration and overall support so if you're looking to be handheld by them forget it you will be lucky to get the receptionist on the phone any given day. He gives you your protocol and you come back every 2-3 months unless something goes off the rails. Wash, rinse and repeat.

Maybe this works for most but there are definitely some that need something different and if so this place isn't for you.

I have been seeing him since around late August early September. I see his PA, not him. I am going to ask to see HIM personally next time, if I'm paying 500 bucks I wanna see him. I will echo everyone else...if you're looing for handholding, forget it. His office sucks at returning phone calls and they do not follow up with you. You see them every 2-3 months and that's that, wash rinse and repeat as others have said. I am not sure if they are right for me but I'm giving them a good, honest shot. He has the experience and reputation. If I were you, I'd go, nothing to lose but money, we've all spent our life savings anyway, what's another 800 bucks?
