Hi! It's been awhile since I used a castor oil pack, and I never used them with the intention of moving the bowels, more for low abdominal pain, detox & female type things...
I don't remember ever having any GI issues or weirdness the following days, but we're all so different! That was also quite a few years ago, before my Lyme was so bad...
I suppose especially as you are using them to alleviate constipation & the candida die off etc, it could have some effect that way, but I really don't know. Maybe it just started things moving in there & now you're feeling it?
I'm not sure if another would help, but I don't think it can hurt...Unless you think it's just causing you to detox too much/ too fast- which I do think is possible. They really are detoxing...
If I recall correctly, I think they're most effective when used frequently- at least several days in a row on a regular basis- but that's for 'normal 'non-Lyme people ! And that's also when you're using them for reasons different than your own.
It might be something you have to work up to slowly - as all of us with Lyme know, too much of anything too quick can be hard on us...
How long did you leave the pack on? Also, the stomach upset you're feeling, is it like nausea?
