Chanca Piedra for Babesia?

I've heard some (not a lot) of people talking about chanca piedra for babesia - and malaria. I'm trying to find any information on it. I'm not finding a ton of info or for that matter anyone who has tried it and had success.

Has anyone tried it and had good results for babesia? I take it occasionally for gallbladder health and I've used it on and off for years. I'm wondering if that's maybe why I'm not a horror case with my two types of babesia. My doc said I'm a 4 out of 10. I don't know if I agree with that assessment. Just trying to piece it all together. Is it possible chanca piedra has helped keep my babeia at bay??

Any info or leads would help. Thanks!

i took it for babesia at the recommendation from a naturopath. i can't say i noticed anything from it but it does supposed to have action against parasites like babesia and other health benefits.

i don't think many have used that herb on this site.

It's odd you don't hear more about it - especially if it's an anti-babesia.

Cowden talks about it here, but there is very little info online. I wonder why.

K has been completely asymptomatic for several years now, in remission from lyme/bartonella/babesia with a combo of Buhner's bart/babs protocols.

However, we have been eating tons of greens (ala Terry Wahl's) and just last week she developed symptoms of kidney stones. Diagnosed after sitting in Emerg for 10 hours, yikes.

Because herbs have worked so well for us, I started her on chanca peidra (AOR - 2 caps daily) three days ago. Today she is complaining of air hunger, something we haven't seen since beginning herbs several years ago. It is obviously hitting a babesia-like-organism of some sort.

interesting rowingmom sure sounds like its getting into some nook and cranny causing it. i hope she's ok i can't imagine being free of these infections for so long then have one of the old symptoms pop back up.

funny i have a huge bag of this stuff and made my own pills expecting to be on it a long time but never was. i was taking 15 pills a day at one point and it didn't do much. then again i've been on zhangs artimisiae-2 3x/day and another stint of 1000mg of super artemisinin along with mepron and still not much reaction.

maybe babs isn't my problem ;o)
