This is what you have to think about before you take someone's word for it, always look at the source of the information. Even Richard Buhner has a big time selling book on Amazon right now that has 125 reviews.
I think even Dr. Horrowitz embelishes his statistics a lot because he's looking to sell books. But because he's a doctor, I keep him further up on the totem pole than others. It doesn't take long to figure out he's a very intelligent guy! As for the others that are making big claims, without much science backing them, I'd be a little skeptic....
This is something I'd agree with as well. It's really important to consider where your information is coming from.
As for Buhner, I really like how all of his information is backed up by scientific literature. What I don't like are the claims of healing 80% of people, or whatever number he puts in his book.
In two years of reading this forum, dozens upon dozens upon dozens of people have come through asking for information about
the Buhner protocol, and I can count on one hand (maybe two) how many people have reported remission.
That's not to say herbal protocols never work, or to throw shade on people using strictly herbals, but I'm always leery of extraordinary claims, especially claims that don't have any scientific backing.
